Who are we looking for
We are looking for a Manager, Recruitment to lead and scale our recruitment funnel. This is a critical leadership role where you'll be responsible for building high-performing teams that drive our growth across multiple business lines. You will own the recruitment strategy and execution in a fast-paced, high-volume hiring environment.
What would you be doing
- Sales Hiring: Own and scale the end-to-end BD recruitment funnel managing 100+ hires per quarter across multiple cities. Build and optimize recruitment processes to improve funnel conversion rates and reduce time-to-hire.
- Campus Recruitment: Design and execute campus hiring strategies across Tier 2, and 3 colleges. Build relationships with placement cells, conduct campus drives at scale, and establish Airblack as an employer of choice.
- Leadership & Senior Hiring: Lead recruitment for mid to senior roles across functions and leadership positions. Partner with founders to identify, assess, and close high-impact talent through executive search and strategic networking.
- Vendor & Agency Management: Identify and manage relationships with external recruitment agencies. Negotiate contracts, set SLAs, monitor vendor performance, and optimize recruitment budgets for cost efficiency.
- Strategic Operations & Team Leadership: Partner with leadership on workforce planning and build talent pipelines. Design assessment framework and track recruitment analytics. Lead and mentor a team of recruiters while collaborating across teams
What makes you a suitable candidate
- 5-8 years of proven recruitment experience with a track record of mass hiring, preferably in EdTech or high-growth startups
- Strong expertise in campus recruitment, leadership hiring, and managing external recruitment agencies with demonstrated success in building scalable hiring processes
- Data-driven approach to recruitment with experience in ATS systems, recruitment analytics, and optimizing key metrics like time-to-hire and cost-per-hire
- Excellent stakeholder management and team leadership skills with the ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and drive results with high ownership
