DEMAND AGENT (Executive & Senior Executive)

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Outreach & Conversion
  • Demand Generation and Negotiation
  • Order Booking & GMV Closure
  • Customer Experience Management
  • Data Accuracy & Reporting

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Agriculture, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of experience in telesales, demand generation, or customer relationship management (preferably in e-commerce or Agri-input industry).

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Strong negotiation and customer-handling ability.
  • Good understanding of pricing, products, and market dynamics.
  • Target-oriented with strong follow-up discipline.
  • Problem-solving mindset with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities (Behaviour-Based, Not Industry-Based)

Market & People Intelligence

  • Understand who buys what, where, and at what price.
  • Identify demand-heavy and supply-heavy regions.
  • Capture informal market insights through conversations.

Relationship & Network Building

  • Build and maintain relationships across regions and industries.
  • Connect with managers, distributors, partners, and decision-makers.
  • Extract contacts and introductions across states.

Conversation-led Information Gathering & Understanding

  • Pricing dynamics.
  • Schemes, offers, and credit norms.
  • Supplier and company behaviour.
  • Ask the right questions at the right time to gather insights.

Candidate Traits

  • Naturally strong in conversations and relationship building.
  • Ability to read people and situations effectively.
  • Curious about markets and business dynamics.
  • Comfortable engaging with senior professionals.
  • Able to gather information without sounding transactional.

Background

  • Candidates from any industry background are acceptable.
  • Experience in sales, partnerships, consulting, media, events, sourcing, or business development preferred.
  • Agriculture knowledge is good to have but not mandatory.
