Job Title: Store Assistant

Department: Store Operations

Reports To: Store Manager

The Store Assistant supports day-to-day store operations by assisting customers, maintaining product displays, managing stock, and ensuring the store remains clean, organized, and customer-friendly.

• Greet customers and provide helpful product information.
• Assist customers with product selection and basic queries.
• Receive, check, arrange, and replenish stock.
• Maintain proper product displays, pricing, and shelf organization.
• Support billing and cash-counter activities when required.
• Monitor stock levels and report shortages or damaged products.
• Keep the store, shelves, and storage areas clean and organized.
• Assist with stock counting and inventory activities.
• Handle customer requests and escalate complaints to the Store Manager.
• Follow company policies, safety procedures, and store standards.
• Support promotional activities and other duties assigned by management.

• Minimum 10th/12th standard; additional qualifications are a plus.
• Previous retail/store experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Good communication and customer-service skills.
• Basic ability to use POS systems or computers.
• Physically fit and comfortable with standing and handling stock.
• Honest, reliable, punctual, and willing to work as part of a team.
