Sr Service Engineer

Role Summary

The APM Process Engineer is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and improving application performance and availability using APM tools. The role focuses on proactive performance monitoring, incident detection, root-cause analysis, and collaboration with development, infrastructure, and service teams to ensure optimal application health and end‑user experience.

Key Responsibilities

Application Performance Monitoring

• Monitor business‑critical applications using APM tools such as:
  • Dynatrace
  • AppDynamics
  • New Relic
  • Datadog (or similar)
• Track key performance indicators (KPIs) including:
  • ServiceNow APM
  • CMDB
• Identify performance bottlenecks and abnormal behavior proactively.

Incident & Problem Management

Process & Continuous Improvement

• Define and maintain APM monitoring standards, dashboards, and alert thresholds.
