Job Profile: Performance Engineers

Job Description:
We are seeking skilled Performance Engineers to join our team to lead and execute performance testing initiatives for enterprise-grade applications, including Dynamics 365 (D365). You will be responsible for designing realistic load testing scenarios, identifying bottlenecks, and collaborating closely with development, QA, and operations teams to improve system stability and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project teams to understand system requirements and design comprehensive performance test plans tailored to application architecture and business needs.
- Develop realistic, scalable performance test scripts using industry-standard tools such as JMeter and LoadRunner.
- Execute performance tests across environments including development, testing, and production to simulate real-world usage.
- Monitor and analyze performance test outputs to identify bottlenecks, system failures, and areas for enhancement.
- Conduct root cause analysis for performance issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive resolution.
- Implement and utilize performance monitoring and Application Performance Management (APM) tools like AppDynamics and Datadog during tests.
- Develop performance monitoring strategies and improve them continuously to ensure ongoing performance evaluation.
- Work closely with developers and architects to optimize application code and infrastructure for enhanced performance.
- Create detailed documentation of test plans, scripts, methodologies, and results.
- Generate and present comprehensive performance reports and communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices in performance testing and engineering.
- Propose process improvements for optimizing testing efficiency and effectiveness.
Must have:
- Strong proficiency in performance testing tools, primarily JMeter and Blazemeter.
- Experience executing performance tests specifically for Dynamics 365 (D365) applications using JMeter.
- Strong understanding of application architecture, database systems, and networking fundamentals.
- Experience with performance monitoring tools and APM solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Good to Have:
- Familiarity with Azure CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Experience with Chaos Engineering tools such as Gremlin and Azure Chaos Studio to simulate failure conditions and resilience testing.
- Clear understanding of cloud computing concepts and their impact on performance testing.
- Hands-on experience with performance testing tools like LoadRunner and monitoring platforms such as AppDynamics or Datadog.
