The Sr. Oracle HCM Cloud Security Administrator is a key technical role responsible for Oracle Fusion security administration in addition to other HRIS technology. This position requires expertise in the Oracle HCM Cloud role-based security model, focusing on HCM security governance, user administration, role-based security, HCM data restriction, and documentation.
Responsibilities
- Lead Security Initiatives - Develop, implement, and manage security strategies for Oracle fusion environments.
- Day to day user role provisioning and management of related ServiceNow requests.
- Develop and manage roles for Oracle (Fusion HCM), Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW/FDI) and other HR systems.
- Manage Datawarehouse security (tables for data security variables in FAW).
- Ensure that Oracle environments comply with industry standards, such as GDPR, HIPAA, and SOX.
- Oversee internal and external audits, track compliance progress, and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Work closely with IT, infrastructure, and development teams to integrate security measures into day-to-day operations and application lifecycle processes.
- Provide training and awareness to staff regarding Oracle security best practices.
- Design and implement secure architectures for Oracle applications and cloud solutions, ensuring they meet business needs while adhering to security best practices.
- Create functional documentation and test security roles.
- Maintain scheduled jobs/ manage auto-provisioning rules.
- Participate in Oracle HCM Cloud projects, production support, and testing.
- Apply security governance and industry best practices.
- Maintain segregation of duties (SOD) controls.
- Manage mass users and user provisioning using HDL/SHDL.
- Utilize Agile software development practices.
Required Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience with Oracle Cloud HCM Security.
- Deep understanding of security profiles, AoRs and overall Oracle security architecture.
- Proven experience in security governance, role management, user provisioning, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with security incident handling and response, including root cause analysis and remediation.
- Ability to lead and manage security projects, from planning and implementation to reporting and audit.
- Familiarity with OCI a plus.
- Experience with Oracle quarterly HCM upgrades and enhancements.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Working with compliance controls (Sox) is a plus.
- SQL experience is a plus.
- Technical certifications for Oracle Cloud HCM, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure is a plus.
