Role Objective
To drive business growth, licensing partnerships, and market expansion across Latin America (LATAM) and CIS regions by identifying strategic opportunities and managing end-to-end deal execution.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Business Development & Market Expansion: Identify and develop new business opportunities across LATAM majorly Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Colombia and other Latam regions, CIS markets, formulating effective market entry strategies.
- Licensing & Portfolio Management: Lead out-licensing initiatives for OSDs, Injectables, and Biosimilars; identify and onboard strategic partners while expanding the international product portfolio.
- Deal Execution: Manage the complete BD cycle, including opportunity identification, evaluation, business case preparation, negotiations, and agreement closure.
- Commercial Analysis: Conduct pricing, costing, and profitability analysis; build robust business cases and revenue projections using market data such as IMS and EXIM.
- Alliance Management: Manage and grow relationships with existing partners to ensure smooth execution and revenue realization.
- Market Intelligence & Tenders: Participate in tenders and track competitor activity, pricing trends, and the regulatory landscape to provide actionable insights to leadership.
- Global Representation: Represent the company at major international platforms including CPHI and EuroPLX.

- Interaction with: Regulatory, R&D, Supply Chain, Legal, and Finance teams.
- Nature of Interaction: Collaborative efforts to ensure timely execution of product launches and cross-functional alignment on business cases.

- Interaction with: Strategic partners, licensing counterparts, and international platform representatives (CPHI/EuroPLX).
- Nature of Interaction: Relationship management, negotiation of commercial agreements, and partner onboarding.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Professional Experience and Relevant Skills
- Experience: 9+ years in International Pharmaceutical Business Development with hands-on experience in LATAM and CIS markets.
- Technical Expertise: Exposure to Licensing, Market Entry strategies, and Alliance Management.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and deal closure skills, commercial and financial acumen, and market analysis capabilities.
Academic Qualifications & Certifications
Educational Qualification: MBA, M.Pharm, B.Pharm, or an equivalent professional degree.
