What's the role
As a
Senior DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, building, and operating cloud infrastructure and CI/CD platforms that support HERE's products and services. You will contribute to improving system reliability, automation, observability, and security while collaborating with cross‑functional engineering teams.Key responsibilities include:
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and resilient cloud infrastructure
- Building and improving CI/CD pipelines to enable efficient and reliable software delivery
- Automating infrastructure provisioning and configuration using Infrastructure as Code practices
- Monitoring system performance, availability, and reliability, and driving continuous improvements
- Partnering with development teams to support application deployments and operational readiness
- Applying security best practices across infrastructure, pipelines, and runtime environments
- Participating in on‑call rotations and contributing to incident response and root cause analysis
- Sharing knowledge, mentoring team members, and contributing to DevOps standards and best practices
Who are you
- You bring strong experience in DevOps, cloud platforms, and automation, along with a collaborative and problem‑solving mindset. You are comfortable working in distributed teams and enjoy improving systems through thoughtful engineering.You typically have:
- Experience working as a DevOps, Platform, or Site Reliability Engineer
- Hands‑on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, automation, and Infrastructure as Code
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
- Understanding of monitoring, logging, and observability practices
- Familiarity with security concepts in cloud and DevOps environments
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and stakeholders
- Clear communication skills and a continuous learning mindset
