Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role based in Madipakkam, Chennai for a Speech Language Pathologist. The role involves evaluating patients with speech, communication, and swallowing disorders, developing personalized treatment plans, and implementing therapy sessions to address individual needs. The professional will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care, monitor progress, and adapt approaches as required to maximize patient outcomes.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Speech Therapy and the ability to assess and treat speech-related conditions effectively
- In-depth knowledge of Speech and Communication Disorders, providing evidence-based interventions tailored to patients
- Experience managing cases involving Dysphagia, with skills in therapies related to swallowing and associated issues
- Understanding and treatment expertise for Language Disorders that impact verbal and non-verbal communication
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and the rehabilitation team
- bachelor degree in speech-Lanuguage pathology
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field (required), with valid licensure or certification
- Previous experience in rehabilitation or healthcare facilities is preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality care
