Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist at VELS HOLISM Rehabilitation Centre, located in Alandur. The Speech Language Pathologist will assess and diagnose communication and swallowing disorders, create and implement personalized treatment plans, provide therapy sessions to improve speech, language, and swallowing skills, and document patient progress. Collaboration with other healthcare professionals and providing guidance to patients families for continued care are also key responsibilities of the role.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Speech Therapy and Speech-related practices
- Knowledge and experience in diagnosing and treating Dysphagia (swallowing disorders)
- Proficiency in managing and treating Communication Disorders
- Experience with interventions for Language Disorders
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to work effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
- Bachelor's degree in speech-Lanuguage pathology.
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field
- Completion of relevant certifications or licensure for Speech Language Pathologists
- Previous experience in rehabilitation or clinical settings is advantageous
