Job Description

Company Description Subodha-Communication For All is an inclusive organization that supports individuals with little or no clear speech, with a core focus on pediatric speech-language therapy. The team specializes in multimodal communication, including Augmentative & Alternative Communication (AAC), for non-speaking and minimally speaking individuals, as well as those diagnosed with autism, ADHD, and other neurodivergent conditions. Subodha also works with children with echolalia or Gestalt Language Processing and speaking individuals who want to improve speech clarity.

Services include comprehensive assessments, structured goal setting and progress reviews, parent coaching, communication partner support, and AAC system customization or recommendations. Guided by the belief that communication is a right, Subodha collaborates with families, professionals, and partner organizations to create sustainable impact and make communication for all a reality.

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Speech Language Pathologist based in Be

ngaluru.

The Speech Language Pathologist will conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication assessments for children and young individuals with diverse communication profiles, including non-speaking and minimally speaking clients.

Daily responsibilities include implementing individualized therapy plans, involving the parent-caregivers in implementing the plan, parent coaching. Documentation involves marking session notes, designing quarterly plans & progress reports.

The Speech Language Pathologist will also contribute to interdisciplinary discussions, participate in team meetings, and help refine evidence-informed practices that align with Subodha's neurodiversity-affirming approach.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and Speech intervention for pediatric and neurodivergent populations.
  • Candidates should possess skills in assessing and treating Communication Disorders, including multimodal and AAC-based communication.
  • Candidates should possess skills in identifying and managing Language Disorders across different developmental and neurodivergent profiles.
  • Candidates should possess skills in screening and supporting individuals with Dysphagia, particularly when relevant to communication and feeding interventions.
  • Recognized graduate or postgraduate degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology-Speech Language Pathology, with appropriate licensure/registration as required.
  • Experience or training in AAC, neurodiversity-affirming practice, and family-centered intervention is highly beneficial.
  • Strong documentation, observation, and analytical skills, with the ability to set measurable goals and monitor progress.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams, communicate clearly with families and professionals, and maintain ethical, inclusive, and respectful practice.
