Company Description Elara Childcare Therapy Centre Pvt. Ltd. is a specialized childcare therapy centre and daycare located in BTM Layout 2nd Stage, Bengaluru. The centre offers a safe, nurturing environment where children can grow, learn, and develop essential skills. Services include Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Art Therapy, and sensory activities tailored to individual needs. Elara also provides Special Education, Daily Life Skills training, School Readiness programs, and full-day daycare support for children and their families.

Role Description The Speech Language Pathologist will provide evidence-based assessment and therapy for children with speech, language, and communication challenges in an on-site setting in Bengaluru. This part-time role involves conducting diagnostic evaluations, developing individualized treatment plans, and delivering one-on-one or small-group speech therapy sessions. The role includes collaborating with occupational therapists, special educators, and caregivers to ensure integrated care and consistent communication strategies at home and school. The Speech Language Pathologist will maintain accurate documentation, track progress, and participate in parent meetings and case reviews to support each child's developmental goals.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Speech Therapy and clinical management of speech-related concerns.
  • Candidates should possess skills in assessing and treating Communication Disorders and Language Disorders in children.
  • Candidates should possess skills in managing Dysphagia and related feeding and swallowing difficulties, where applicable.
  • Professional degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Audiology & Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution.
  • Relevant registration or licensure as required by local regulatory bodies.
  • Experience working with children in pediatric or school-based therapy settings is preferred.
  • Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary team and communicate clearly with families and caregivers.
  • Strong documentation, time management, and organizational skills; commitment to ethical, child-centered practice.
