Role & Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver personalized, multi-sensory lesson plans aligned with CBSE curriculum for students with learning needs.
  • Conduct regular assessments to track progress, adapt teaching strategies, and update Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
  • Collaborate with mainstream teachers, parents, and therapists to support holistic student development and classroom inclusion.
  • Implement assistive technologies, visual aids, behavioral strategies, and differentiated instruction to improve engagement and outcomes.
  • Lead small-group and one-on-one intervention sessions to reinforce core subjects, life skills, and socio-emotional learning.
  • Maintain detailed student records, progress reports, and communication logs for school administration and guardian updates.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Must-Have
  • Special Education Certification (B.Ed. / M.Ed. in Special Education)
  • Experience with IEP development and implementation
  • Proficiency in multi-sensory teaching techniques
  • Knowledge of CBSE curriculum and assessment frameworks
  • Experience working with children with autism, ADHD, dyslexia, or developmental delays
  • Strong documentation and record-keeping skills
  • Preferred
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies (e.g., speech-to-text, AAC devices)
  • Training in ABA, TEACCH, or sensory integration strategies
  • Fluency in Kannada (for parent communication)
