About Role:
We're looking for a Social Media Strategist who's done the hard thing before, scaled a brand from 0 to 100K+ followers in under 6 months and knows how to mix storytelling, virality, creators, and data to drive explosive growth. This is a hands-on, builder role. You won't just plan content you'll script it, shoot it, test it, break it, and scale what works. If you love building brands in public and moving at internet speed, this role is for you.
What you'll do:
- Own and execute a full-funnel social media growth strategy across Instagram, YouTube & LinkedIn
- Create viral-first content: reels, shorts, memes, founder-led stories, education + infotainment, and trend hijacks
- Lead end-to-end content production ideation, scripting, shoot planning, directing founders/creators, and fast turnarounds
- Build monthly content calendars & campaigns aligned with launches, growth goals, and cultural moments
- Develop and manage a creator & influencer ecosystem for consistent UGC and collaborations
- Partner closely with brand & performance marketing to align organic + paid growth strategies
- Track what matters: followers, reach, engagement, CTR, retention, watch time & content fatigue
- Constantly spot new trends, formats, hooks, and platforms to keep the brand relevant and ahead of the curve
Who you are:
- 23 years of hands-on social media experience with proven growth wins
- Non-negotiable: Scaled a brand from 0 100K+ followers in under 6 months (portfolio / case study required)
- Comfortable being on-ground scripting, shooting, editing, and directing content
- Deep understanding of Instagram algorithms, short-form video psychology, and internet culture
- Creative thinker with a strong data mindset you test, measure, and iterate fast
- Self-starter who thrives in high-ownership, fast-moving startup environments
- Bonus: Experience with D2C brands, early-stage startups, or creator-led growth models
