Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Social Media Marketing Executive with 46 years in the eCommerce industry, who has also managed a small team. This role demands strategic thinking, content planning, campaign execution, and performance optimization all tailored for eCommerce audiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute end-to-end social media strategies across Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and X
- Manage and mentor a small social media team (designers, copywriters, interns)
- Plan and run both organic and paid campaigns for product launches, promotions, and seller engagement
- Collaborate with the performance marketing and design teams for unified messaging
- Monitor and analyze content performance (reach, engagement, conversions) and optimize accordingly
- Stay on top of trends, platform updates, and competitor activity in the eCommerce space
- Plan influencer and user-generated content collaborations where relevant
- Own the monthly content calendar and reporting metrics
Requirements
- 46 years of hands-on experience in social media marketing for eCommerce brands or marketplaces
- Proven track record of team handling (minimum 13 direct reports)
- Strong command of platform-specific content strategies (Reels, Shorts, Carousel Posts, Stories, etc.)
- Experience with paid campaign management (Meta Ads, Google Display, etc.)
- Excellent writing, briefing, and content ideation skills
- Comfortable using tools like Meta Business Suite, Canva, Buffer/Hootsuite, Google Analytics
