Beyond exhibitions and conferences, ASW is a high-energy, content-led platform with fashion shows, trend showcases, leadership roundtables, networking evenings, podcasts, interviews, reels, and on-ground storytelling- making it one of the most visible and influential industry IPs in the country.

Role & Description

ASW is looking for a Social Media & Content Strategist to build and lead the digital voice of one of India's most influential fashion intelligence platforms. This is a full-time, on-site role based in New Delhi.

You will be responsible for shaping how ASW shows up to the world- before, during, and after the event. From building hype and narratives around fashion shows, speakers, exhibitors, and partners, to creating on-ground content during the event and sustaining momentum through interviews, podcasts, and industry-led reels. This is not a desk-only role. You'll be embedded in the event ecosystem- working with industry leaders, creators, speakers, designers, and founders, and leading a content team on the ground.

What you'll do

  • Own the end-to-end social media and content strategy for ASW across LinkedIn, Instagram, YouTube, and emerging platforms.
  • Build high-impact content formats around fashion shows & trend showcases, Industry leader interviews & podcasts, business of fashion explainers & insights via reels, exhibitor & partner spotlights, behind-the-scenes and on-ground event storytelling
  • Lead pre-event hype, live event coverage, and post-event content narratives.
  • Manage and guide a team of 20+ content contributors (video, design, copy, on-ground creators).
  • Work closely with the events, partnerships, and editorial teams to translate the ASW agenda into compelling digital stories.
  • Plan and execute influencer & creator collaborations, industry meet-ups, and content activations around ASW.
  • Travel for the event and associated industry activations to capture real-time stories and moments.
  • Track performance metrics, optimise content formats, and build scalable content playbooks for future editions.
  • Experiment with new formats- podcasts, interview IPs, short-form video series, trend explainers, and community-led content.

What we're looking for

  • Strong editorial and storytelling mindset- you know how to turn business+ fashion content into engaging digital narratives.
  • Experience handling high-visibility event brands, media platforms, fashion brands, or B2B communities.
  • Deep comfort with video-first platforms (reels, shorts, interviews, on-ground content).
  • Ability to manage fast-paced content cycles and lead a team of contributors.
  • Sharp copywriting skills with a balance of premium, business-forward, and culture-driven tone.
  • A strong interest in fashion, retail, business, design, manufacturing, sustainability, and technology.

Nice to have

  • Prior experience covering fashion weeks, large exhibitions, conferences, or cultural events.
  • Experience with podcasts, video production, or long-form interview formats.
  • Familiarity with design/video tools (Canva, CapCut, Adobe, AI tools).
  • Existing network with creators, designers, fashion media, or industry professionals.
