Job Description: Social Media Manager

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Experience: 6+ years of experience managing organic social media for brands, preferably in a digital or creative agency environment.

Role Overview:

Social Media Manager (Organic) with 6+ years of experience to lead our organic social media and podcast initiatives across platforms. This role is focused entirely on brand building, storytelling, community engagement, and organic growthnot paid media or performance marketing.

The ideal candidate comes with a strong agency background, a deep understanding of finance/fintech audiences, and proven experience in building high-impact digital content ecosystems. You will own organic social and podcast strategy end-to-end, lead a small in-house team, and collaborate closely with creative and media partners to strengthen brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership

Develop and execute a comprehensive organic social media strategy aligned with brand, content, and business objectives.

Strengthen brand voice through thought leadership, storytelling, and topical engagement.

Drive platform-specific strategies across Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook, and X (Twitter).

Content & Campaign Management

Oversee content planning, creation, and publishing including reels, short- and long-form videos, carousels, and thought-leadership posts.

Lead organic social campaigns end-to-endfrom ideation and execution to performance reporting.

Ensure consistent brand tone, quality, and storytelling across all platforms.

Podcast Ownership

Own and manage flagship podcast, including content planning, guest coordination, production timelines, and internal alignment.

Drive podcast growth through effective amplification across social and digital channels.

Team Leadership

Lead, mentor, and manage the in-house organic social media team.

Foster a culture of creativity, accountability, and timely execution.

Agency & Partner Management

Collaborate with creative, production, and post-production agencies from briefing to final delivery.

Ensure outputs meet brand guidelines, quality benchmarks, and campaign objectives.

Community Engagement

Build and nurture an engaged online community by actively responding to comments, messages, and conversations.

Encourage authentic dialogue that builds trust, credibility, and brand advocacy.

Performance Analytics & Optimisation

Track and analyse KPIs using native and third-party tools (Meta Insights, LinkedIn Analytics, YouTube Studio, etc.).

Use data-driven insights to optimise content strategy for reach, engagement, and audience growth.

Trends & Innovation

Stay updated on social media trends, emerging formats, platform updates, and algorithm changes.

Proactively experiment with new content formats and storytelling approaches to drive organic growth.

Influencer & Collaboration Initiatives

Manage partnerships with finance influencers, creators, and thought leaders.

Identify collaboration opportunities that enhance brand visibility and credibility within the fintech ecosystem.

Requirements:

6+ years of experience managing organic social media for brands, preferably in a digital or creative agency environment.

Strong understanding of finance, fintech, and investment audiences.

Proven ability to build brand presence through storytelling and community engagement.

Experience leading teams and managing multiple stakeholders.

Hands-on experience working with and managing external agencies and partners.

Excellent communication, writing, and storytelling skills across formats and platforms.

Highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience managing brand podcasts or long-form content series.

Prior experience with wealth management, fintech, or financial services brands.
