About the Role
We're looking for a creative, trend-savvy Social Media Manager to build and grow the Mint Money presence across social platforms. This role will own end-to-end content - from strategy to execution to make Mint Money culturally relevant, high on engagement, and aligned with business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Content & Social Strategy
- Build, manage, and grow Mint Money's social media handles across platforms (Instagram, X, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
- Define and maintain a consistent brand tonality, visual language, and content identity for Mint Money.
- Own the social calendar: daily content creation, posting, real-time updates.
- Develop short-form and long-form content including videos, reels, carousels, static posts, and topical creatives.
- Work on scripts, hooks, captions, and content formats that improve engagement.
Trend Spotting & Real-Time Content
- Actively track finance, news, cultural and internet trends.
- Create agile, real-time content that keeps Mint Money relevant in the larger social landscape.
- Plan and execute moment marketing opportunities in line with brand guardrails.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with the Brand & Editorial teams to align content with Mint's voice and standards.
- Partner with the Business & Performance teams to build use-case-driven content that drives measurable outcomes - leads, feature awareness, etc.
- Coordinate with design, video, editorial, and brand teams to deliver high-quality content.
Analytics & Insights
- Track content performance, audience insights, and platform metrics regularly.
- Run experiments and optimize content based on data.
- Prepare weekly/monthly dashboards and recommendations.
What We're Looking For
- 4-5 years of hands-on social media experience (finance/e-com brands preferred but not mandatory).
- Strong understanding of digital culture, trends, meme language, and social storytelling.
- Ability to convert complex finance topics into engaging, simple content.
- Data-driven mindset + creative instinct.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced newsroom-style environment.
- Experience of video scripting, storyboarding, and reel creation.
- Experience with social analytics tools (Meta Suite, Sprinklr, Hootsuite, etc.) is a bonus.
