Role Overview:
The Social Media Manager will be responsible for managing and growing social media presence for both Geekonomy and its clients. This includes strategy development, content planning, execution, client coordination, and performance tracking. The role requires a balance of creativity, organization, and client communication to ensure consistent and impactful digital presence.
Key Responsibilities:
1.Social Media Strategy & Planning:
- Develop and implement social media strategies for Geekonomy and assigned clients
- Create structured monthly content calendars aligned with brand objectives
- Identify platform trends, content opportunities, and growth strategies
2.Client Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned social media clients
- Understand client brands, goals, and target audiences
- Coordinate approvals, feedback, and content scheduling with clients
- Ensure timely delivery of agreed content and services
- Maintain professional communication and build strong client relationships
3.Content Coordination & Execution
- Plan and publish posts, reels, stories, and campaign content
- Coordinate with designers, video editors, and marketing teams for content creation
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, quality, and visual identity
4.Platform Management & Engagement
- Manage daily activity across platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, and others
- Monitor comments, messages, and interactions for both Geekonomy and clients
- Ensure timely responses and proper engagement
5.Performance Tracking & Reporting
- Monitor performance using analytics tools
- Prepare monthly reports for internal review and client presentation
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve performance
6.Campaign Support
- Assist in executing marketing campaigns, launches, and promotions
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure smooth execution
Requirements
Experience
- 24 years of experience in social media management, preferably in a digital marketing or branding.
Skills
- Strong understanding of major social media platforms
- Ability to manage multiple client accounts simultaneously
- Strong communication and client handling skills
- Good content planning and organizational ability
- Understanding of branding and content positioning
- Advanced knowledge of analytics and reporting
