Job Description

Social Media Manager

For the person who sees a trending audio at 7am and has a content idea ready by 9. You'll shape how our clients show up online and make sure every post earns its place on the feed.

About the role

This isn't a scheduler-and-poster role. We're looking for someone who has a genuine pulse on culture, platforms, and what makes content actually work. You'll manage social media for multiple client accounts, lead content strategy conversations, and be the bridge between creative ideas and measurable results. Agency-side experience is non-negotiable you know how to juggle clients, timelines, and team dynamics without dropping the ball.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor trends across Instagram, LinkedIn, X, YouTube Shorts, and emerging platforms and act on them fast
  • Develop content strategies tailored to each client's brand voice, audience, and business objectives
  • Curate and oversee content creation briefing designers and copywriters with clear direction and context
  • Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring timely approvals, publishing, and iteration
  • Facilitate client discussions on content direction, social strategy, and platform performance with clarity and confidence
  • Communicate performance insights to both internal stakeholders and clients connecting content decisions to results
  • Plan and execute paid and organic social campaigns in collaboration with the wider account team
  • Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints while keeping content fresh and platform-native
  • Identify content gaps, underperforming areas, and new opportunities across each account's social presence

Requirement

  • 3–5 years of social media experience, with a significant portion spent in an agency environment managing multiple accounts simultaneously
  • Demonstrable experience building and presenting content strategies not just executing them
  • Strong grasp of platform nuances what works on Instagram is not what works on LinkedIn, and you know why
  • Proven ability to spot trends early and convert them into relevant content concepts quickly
  • Comfort leading client-facing conversations: presenting calendars, defending strategy, and managing feedback professionally
  • Analytical mindset you're fluent in Meta Business Suite, LinkedIn Analytics, and third-party tools like Sprout or Hootsuite
  • Exceptional attention to detail from caption copy to scheduling timings to reporting accuracy
  • Strong collaboration skills you work well with designers, strategists, and account managers without losing momentum.
