Key Responsibilities:
- Site Supervision & Operations:
- Oversee the entire construction site operations and manage the site team to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Coordinate and supervise construction activities, ensuring that work is completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
- Monitor the work of subcontractors, suppliers, and site staff to ensure compliance with project specifications, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Project Coordination:
- Liaise with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure that the construction process aligns with the project timeline, budget, and design specifications.
- Ensure that construction activities are carried out in accordance with the project schedule and adjust timelines as necessary to address delays or issues.
- Manage the scheduling of construction phases, materials delivery, and equipment needs to avoid disruptions to the project.
- Health & Safety Compliance:
- Ensure the construction site complies with all relevant health and safety laws and regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), safe work practices, and site security.
- Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and toolbox talks to ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
- Address any safety concerns immediately and ensure that any incidents or accidents are reported according to company procedures.
- Quality Control & Inspections:
- Monitor the quality of work being performed, ensuring it meets the company's standards and relevant building codes and regulations.
- Conduct inspections of the site regularly to assess the progress of work, identifying any potential issues that may delay or affect quality.
- Report any defects or issues to the project manager and ensure they are addressed promptly.
- Budget & Resource Management:
- Assist in managing project budgets, including labor, materials, and equipment costs, ensuring the site remains within financial constraints.
- Track site expenses and provide regular updates to the project manager on financial status and cost projections.
- Ensure that the site is adequately staffed and equipped with the necessary materials and resources to avoid project delays.
