Job Description

  • Manage Maintenance team that meets agreed objectives and delivers best practice results, added value, and continuous improvements.
  • Monitor usage of tools and equipment and ensure tools are readily available for assigned tasks.
  • Establish, implement, train, and monitor maintenance guidelines for the maintenance teams.
  • Assessing procedures and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Support, comply, and ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, Company Handbook, Quality and Environmental standards, and all other Company policies and procedures.
  • Responsibility for budget control, spares management, site contracts management, and ongoing improvement of the maintenance systems.
  • Ability to manage a variety of cross-functional team members. Communicate with Customer, Vendors, and other stakeholders.
  • Skill Set- Site Management, Testing of Electrical System, Presentation Skills, MS Office, Supervisory License of state of Maharashtra.
  • EHS certification
  • Order handover from Project team along with project manager.
  • Understanding scope of work as per approved PO once order is handed over.
  • Good knowledge about MV/LV panels, transformers, cables, cable trays, switchgears etc.
  • Should be able to study & understand SLD, GA, schematic dwgs & co-relate with site requirements.
  • Role demands to be permanently stationed at site (across India) as a SPOC from Siemens side from site mobilization till O&M Contract handing over to Customer.
  • Clear understanding of customer requirement with effective communication with all internal & external stakeholders.
  • Should be aware about EHS practices & ensure all activities are carried out in line with EHS requirements.
  • Should have in-depth knowledge & experience in unloading, lifting, shifting & installations of heavy equipment viz. transformers & panels.
  • Should have good planning & problem-solving skills to ensure completion of activities as per Customer timelines.
  • Have ability to independently handle complete site including Contractor manpower.
  • Should be able to handle Customer escalations & perform in tougher situations.
  • Good communication and conflict management skills.
  • Monitor and follow-up on vendor activities, highlight potential delays. To ensure that corrective actions are taken to minimize/manage the delays/damages.
  • Should prepare O&M bills & get approvals from Customer based on site progress.
  • Should have knowledge about labour laws & HR compliances.
