Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Site Engineer, based in Bengaluru. The Site Engineer will oversee construction activities, ensure quality control standards, implement structural engineering best practices, and monitor project progress. Additionally, they will liaise with clients, teams, and stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and effective collaboration to meet project deadlines and specifications. Site inspections and supervision will be integral to maintaining the highest construction standards.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in structural engineering and civil engineering principles
- Experience in quality control and ensuring compliance with construction standards
- Strong on-site management skills, with the ability to supervise and inspect active construction projects effectively
- Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors for timely completion of works
- Monitor quality standards and ensure rectification of defects during and after execution
- Plan daily and weekly work schedules to meet project timelines
- Coordinate with MEP teams to ensure seamless integration with finishing activities
- Check material deliveries, approvals, and proper usage at site
- Conduct site measurements and verify contractor bills related to finishing works
- Ensure compliance with safety norms and site housekeeping standards
- Prepare daily progress reports and update project management on site status
- Attend coordination meetings with consultants, architects, and clients as required
- Excellent communication skills for liaising with clients, teams, and stakeholders
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field is required
- Knowledge of relevant construction regulations and safety protocols is essential
- Problem-solving skills and attention to detail are advantageous
