Job Title: ServiceNow Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced ServiceNow Developer to join our team in Hyderabad. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with the ServiceNow platform in an enterprise-wide, multi-tier production environment. This role requires deep technical expertise in ServiceNow ITSM, integrations, scripting, Service Portal development, and Agile methodologies, along with excellent communication and leadership skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and customize ServiceNow applications in a large enterprise environment
  • Develop and maintain client-side and server-side scripts including:
  • Catalog Client Scripts
  • Business Rules
  • Script Includes
  • UI Actions
  • Script Actions
  • Implement and support ITSM modules including:
  • Incident, Problem, Change, Release Management
  • Service Catalog
  • Service Level Management
  • Asset Management and CMDB
  • Event Management and Orchestration
  • Develop Service Portal pages, widgets, and UI Macros using AngularJS, HTML, CSS
  • Build and maintain integrations with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Work with Import Sets and Transform Maps for data migration and integrations
  • Configure workflows, notifications, ACLs, UI Policies, and reporting dashboards
  • Support Virtual Agent, Active Directory integration, and B2B integrations
  • Collaborate within Agile/Scrum teams to deliver high-quality solutions
  • Ensure solutions follow ServiceNow best practices and performance standards
  • Mentor team members and share knowledge across development and operations teams
  • Ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability of delivered solutions

Required Technical Skills

  • Mandatory: Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM
  • 47 years of ServiceNow development experience in production environments
  • Strong JavaScript expertise, including JSON and AJAX
  • Solid understanding of:
  • Client & Server APIs (GlideRecord, GlideAggregate, GlideForm, GlideDialogWindow, etc.)
  • Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, UI Actions, ACLs
  • Service Portal development using AngularJS
  • HTML, CSS, and UX/UI development experience
  • Experience with:
  • Reporting and Dashboards
  • Workflows and Notifications
  • Import Sets and Transform Maps
  • REST and SOAP integrations
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodology
