Senior Vice President (10–15 years relevant experience), CASA Operations (Back-Office)
Job Purpose:
The Senior Vice President (SVP) will play a key role as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in the CASA Operations team, focusing on the review and signoff of deliverables provided by other SMEs and Business Analysts (BAs). The SVP will act as a bridge between business users, IT, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth and compliant CASA operations. This includes supporting IT projects and collaborating with business/product owners, compliance/risk SMEs, and domain leads, as well as managing tasks conducted by members in the domain, such as documentation, test case preparation, and UAT support.
Key Accountabilities:
Project Planning and Management
- Develop and manage the overall plan for pre-study and implementation as an SME in the CASA area in collaboration with subject matter experts.
Stakeholder Coordination
- Coordinate and confirm requirements with business users and IT; support requirement clarification, impact analysis, and documentation.
Management of SMEs and BAs in the same domain
- Provide direction to SMEs and BAs, overseeing execution of the following tasks:
- Facilitate system function and workflow design
- Gather User and Business requirements and perform gap analysis
- Establish and introduce new work procedures and/or workarounds.
- Provide training to local and overseas users
- Provide support for User Acceptance Testing
- Conduct study to analyze system effectiveness
- Assist in the preparation of System and Operation manuals
Quality Control of Deliverables
- Review deliverables provided by SMEs and BAs,such as BRD and any other project materials, to ensure their quality.
Risk and Issue Management
- Identify project risks, impacts, and issues; propose solutions and contingency plans.
User Support and Knowledge Transfer
- Promote standardization of deliverables and knowledge sharing within the team.
Requirements:
Senior Vice President 1:
- At least 10–15 years of experience in back-office operations within the CASA area of a financial institution.
- Proven experience in requirements gathering, process documentation (including preparation, review, and maintenance of business/system documentation such as BRD and manuals), and coordination with multiple stakeholders (business, IT, vendors).
- Prior experience in the implementation of package systems (Flexcube) will be advantageous.
- Experience in handling the full CASA operation process, including account opening and maintenance, transaction processing (deposits, withdrawals, etc.), interest calculation, etc.
- Experience in OD management, time deposit, foreign exchange, creation of SWIFT messages, and reconciliation.
- Experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks and issues, with ability to propose and implement effective solutions.
