Senior UI UX Designer

Job Responsibilities

Role Summary:

Working on client requirements and with internal product teams to help with user research, creating wireframes and designs, and ultimately aligning user behavior to actions that drive results. Working alongside other engineers, developers and supporting front-end development.

Key Responsibilities:

Research & Strategy

• Conduct user research (surveys, interviews, usability tests) to identify pain points and opportunities.
• Develop user personas, journey maps, and information architecture based on behavioral insights.
• Perform competitive analysis to benchmark industry trends and innovate beyond competitors.

Design & Execution

• Create wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups (Figma/Sketch/Adobe XD).
• Build and maintain component libraries for scalable, consistent designs.
• Iterate designs based on user feedback and A/B testing results.

Collaboration & Leadership

• Present UX demonstrations to stakeholders, translating design decisions into business value.
• Partner with developers to ensure feasible, pixel-perfect implementation (basic HTML/CSS knowledge preferred).
• Mentor junior designers and promote best practices in agile workflows.

Must-Have Skills:

• 5+ years of end-to-end UX/UI design (research prototyping handoff).
• Portfolio showcasing:
• Data-driven case studies (e.g., improved metrics through UX changes).
• Proficiency in design tools and design system management.
• Strong visual design skills as demonstrated in the ideal usage of color, text, font style, imagery, and layout.
• Expertise in Figma/Sketch (auto-layout, components, prototyping).
• Experience with graphic design software, including AdobeIllustrator, Photoshop, After Effects.
• Exceptional creativity and innovative design skills.
• Strong verbal/written communication (UX writing samples a plus).
• Agile/Scrum experience and familiarity with developer handoff tools (Storybook, Zeplin).

Preferred:

Basic front-end skills (HTML/CSS/JavaScript).

Proactive ownership: Drives projects independently while aligning stakeholders.

Adaptability: Learns new tools (e.g., AI prototyping) to stay ahead of trends.

Collaborative mindset: Bridges gaps between design, engineering, and business teams.

Graphic design skills: Past experience in professional graphic design with creative or marketing.
