Job description:
We are looking for a visionary Senior UX/UI Designer to define the visual language and user journey of our global website. You will be responsible for transforming complex business requirements into intuitive, elegant, and high-converting digital experiences that resonate with a global audience.
As our Senior UX/UI Designer, you sit at the intersection of psychology, art, and technology. You are not just making things look pretty; you are solving problems, optimizing conversion paths, and ensuring every pixel serves a purpose. You will lead the design lifecycle from initial discovery and wireframing to high-fidelity prototyping and handoff.
Core Responsibilities
1. User Experience (UX) Strategy & Research
- User Journeys: Map out complex user flows to ensure a frictionless experience from landing page to conversion.
- Information Architecture: Organize site content and navigation structures to maximize findability and logical flow.
- Structured Content Modeling: Design structured content models specifically for Headless environments to ensure content flexibility.
- User Research: Conduct usability testing, A/B testing analysis, and user interviews to validate design decisions with data.
2. User Interface (UI) & Visual Design
- Visual Excellence: Design stunning, modern, and pixel-perfect interfaces that align with our global brand identity.
- Design Systems: Build and maintain a scalable Figma Design System (components, tokens, variables) to ensure consistency across the entire site.
- AEM Integration: Translate UX concepts into reusable AEM components aligned with Editable Templates, Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, and Design Policies.
3. Collaboration & Delivery
- Performance-First Architecture: Collaborate on Edge Delivery Services UX patterns optimized for speed and modern delivery.
- Developer Handoff: Work closely with Backend and DevOps engineers to ensure design feasibility and provide clean specs/assets.
- Accessibility & Performance: Ensure all designs meet WCAG 2.1 standards and are optimized for Core Web Vitals.
- Stakeholder Management: Present design concepts to leadership, articulating the why behind design choices using logic and data.
Required Qualifications
- Professional Experience
- Experience: 7+ years of experience designing high-traffic, enterprise-level websites or complex web applications.
- AEM Expertise:Solid experience with AEM is a requirement. You must have a proven track record of designing products within the Adobe Experience Manager ecosystem.
- Portfolio: A strong portfolio demonstrating both deep UX thinking (case studies, flows) and elite UI execution (visual craft, typography, layout).
- Product Mindset: Experience working in an agile environment alongside product managers and engineers.
- Technical Competencies
- Tools: Mastery of Figma (Auto-layout, Components, Prototyping) is mandatory. Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite or Framer is a plus.
- AEM Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of translating designs into Experience Fragments, Content Fragments, and Design Policies.
- Web Fundamentals: A solid understanding of HTML/CSS capabilities and constraints, specifically regarding Core Web Vitals and Edge Delivery Services.
- Data-Driven: Proficiency in using tools like Hotjar, Google Analytics, or Mixpanel to inform design iterations.
