About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior ServiceNow Developer to join a large-scale enterprise digital transformation program. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in ServiceNow development, implementation, customization, and integration across multiple ServiceNow modules.

This role requires a technically strong professional who can work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver scalable ServiceNow solutions and drive platform enhancements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications and modules based on business requirements.
• Build and maintain workflows, business rules, client scripts, UI policies, UI actions, Script Includes, and integrations.
• Develop and support ServiceNow ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, CMDB, Service Portal, and related platform capabilities.
• Create and maintain REST/SOAP API integrations with internal and external systems.
• Participate in solution design discussions and provide technical recommendations aligned with ServiceNow best practices.
• Troubleshoot and resolve platform issues, performance bottlenecks, and production incidents.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Perform code reviews, mentor junior developers, and promote development standards.
• Support upgrades, patching activities, platform enhancements, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain technical documentation and ensure compliance with governance standards.

Required Skills & Experience

• 6-7+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
• Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform customization and administration.
• Proven experience with:

• CMDB
• Service Catalog
• Incident, Problem, and Change Management
• Flow Designer
• IntegrationHub
• Service Portal
• Strong scripting skills in:
• JavaScript
• Glide APIs
• Business Rules
• Client Scripts
• Script Includes
• Experience integrating ServiceNow with third-party applications using REST and SOAP web services.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum delivery methodologies.
• Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA).
• ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Additional ServiceNow certifications in ITSM, ITOM, or related modules will be advantageous.
• Experience working with large enterprise environments and global stakeholders.
• Previous consulting or professional services experience is a plus.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
