Required Skills & Experience
Exp Level: 5-9 Years
ServiceNow Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of the ServiceNow data model, especially CMDB, Incident, Change, Request, and Asset tables.
- Strong experience with Flow Designer, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Scripted REST APIs.
- Hands-on experience configuring MID Servers and managing integrations (can be optional)
- Proven ability to rebuild or modernize workflows from legacy ITSM platforms.
Data & CMDB Expertise
- Expertise in data mapping, normalization, reconciliation, and relationship modeling.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB.
- Experience handling large-scale data migrations with high data quality standards.
ITSM & Process Knowledge
- Solid understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow. (very important)
- Experience with Service Catalog, Request Management, and Knowledge Management.
- Ability to bridge business needs with technical execution.
Integration Skills
- Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integrations.
- Knowledge of authentication and security best practices.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems and monitoring tools.
Nice to Have
- ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS ITSM, CIS CMDB, or Architect-level certifications).
- Exposure to Discovery, Service Mapping, or CSDM.
- Wanting to learn more, curious, comfortable to work with strict timelines
