Job Description

Required Skills & Experience

Exp Level: 5-9 Years

ServiceNow Technical Expertise

  • Deep understanding of the ServiceNow data model, especially CMDB, Incident, Change, Request, and Asset tables.
  • Strong experience with Flow Designer, Import Sets, Transform Maps, and Scripted REST APIs.
  • Hands-on experience configuring MID Servers and managing integrations (can be optional)
  • Proven ability to rebuild or modernize workflows from legacy ITSM platforms.

Data & CMDB Expertise

  • Expertise in data mapping, normalization, reconciliation, and relationship modeling.
  • Strong understanding of ServiceNow CMDB.
  • Experience handling large-scale data migrations with high data quality standards.

ITSM & Process Knowledge

  • Solid understanding of ITSM and ITIL processes and their implementation in ServiceNow. (very important)
  • Experience with Service Catalog, Request Management, and Knowledge Management.
  • Ability to bridge business needs with technical execution.

Integration Skills

  • Strong experience with REST/SOAP APIs and enterprise integrations.
  • Knowledge of authentication and security best practices.
  • Experience integrating ServiceNow with enterprise systems and monitoring tools.

Nice to Have

  • ServiceNow certifications (CSA, CIS ITSM, CIS CMDB, or Architect-level certifications).
  • Exposure to Discovery, Service Mapping, or CSDM.
  • Wanting to learn more, curious, comfortable to work with strict timelines

  • Owns the core migration logic, scripting, and platform configuration.
  • Ensures clean, accurate, and reliable CMDB and ITSM data.
