Key Responsibilities And Skills
- Strong understanding of manual testing concepts, including test case design, defect lifecycle, bug leakage, and exploratory testing.
- Experience in creating and executing test cases for APIs, integrations, and complex system workflows.
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on automation testing experience; expertise with the Playwright framework is a strong plus.
- Drive the automation strategy across projects, ensuring high coverage, efficiency, and quality.
- Solid experience in API testing using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or similar.
- Perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for critical defects and collaborate with engineering teams to prevent recurrence.
- Skilled in identifying and testing edge cases, negative scenarios, and regression scenarios.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test plans, strategies, and quality objectives.
- Exposure to third-party integrations and system workflow validations.
- Strong analytical, logical, and problem-solving skills.
- Document test results, provide test coverage reports, and recommend improvements to QA processes.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and drive quality across teams.
