Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

• 4-6 years relevant testing experience

• Proven track record to creating and executing on highly effective quality processes

• Experience driving end-to-end software quality

• Experience in handling 2 or more team members

• Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.

• Good understanding of Software life cycles

• Experience in writing test plans and test cases.

• Can handle testing of multiple releases with multiple dependencies

• Able to handle an extremely fast pace while maintaining the highest quality standards

• Logical thinker and a team player

Job Specification

• Experience testing Web and mobile applications (android and iOS)

• Hands on experience in API testing is a must

• Hands on experience in DB testing is a must

• Experienced in different types of testing and well versed with various testing techniques.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation and testing methodologies (agile is a plus).

• Execution of Test iterations, tracking/reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution.

• Knowledge of any automation practice is a plus

• Knowledge of security and performance testing is a plus.

• Ability to understand business requirements and think from business as well as technical perspective.

• Self-driven to improve test coverage and effectiveness

• Ability to quickly learn and apply complex technical information to testing situations.

• Adaptability and attention to finalizing testing details and duties amidst aggressive time challenges.
