Senior QA Engineer

Job Description

4-6 years relevant testing experience

Proven track record to creating and executing on highly effective quality processes

Experience driving end-to-end software quality

Experience in handling 2 or more team members

Strong knowledge of QA methodology and tools.

Good understanding of Software life cycles

Experience in writing test plans and test cases.

Can handle testing of multiple releases with multiple dependencies

Able to handle an extremely fast pace while maintaining the highest quality standards

Logical thinker and a team player

Job Specification

Experience testing Web and mobile applications (android and iOS)

Hands on experience in API testing is a must

Hands on experience in DB testing is a must

Experienced in different types of testing and well versed with various testing techniques.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Understanding of QA processes and concepts including test case preparation and testing methodologies (agile is a plus).

Execution of Test iterations, tracking/reporting results, troubleshooting and coordinating defect resolution.

Knowledge of any automation practice is a plus

Knowledge of security and performance testing is a plus.

Ability to understand business requirements and think from business as well as technical perspective.

Self-driven to improve test coverage and effectiveness

Ability to quickly learn and apply complex technical information to testing situations.

Adaptability and attention to finalizing testing details and duties amidst aggressive time challenges.
