Senior Network Engineer

A Senior Network Engineer is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures. This role requires a deep understanding of networking protocols, technologies, and security best practices. The Senior Network Engineer will provide technical leadership, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure optimal network performance and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices (routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers).
• Monitor network performance and identify potential issues.
• Implement network security measures to protect against threats.
• Analyze network requirements and recommend solutions.
• Develop and maintain network documentation.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers.
• Participate in network planning and capacity planning.
• Stay up-to-date with emerging network technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, routing, switching).
• Experience with network design and implementation.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting and problem-solving.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Certifications (CCNP, CCIE, etc.) preferred.
