Position Title: Senior Manager Sales, BESS
Department: Sales
Location: Delhi

Job Responsibility:
o Generate business leads for sale of BESS in India
o Understanding of the various tenders and market trends in BESS
o Understand the voice of clients; work with internal stakeholders specially with technical, commercial, operation & maintenance and legal teams; and make the BESS customer specific offerings
o Work closely with regional sales heads for client specific needs
o Prepare commercial offer (scope, key terms and conditions including warranties and testing) for BESS
o Prepare & negotiate term sheet, definitive agreements for supply, commission services and operation and maintenance
o Analyze market trends and provide feedback for technology, pricing, warranty terms, financial products, product development, new lines of business, etc.

Job Requirement:
o Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
o Minimum 8 plus years, of sales and BD experience with at least 2 years in BESS sector
o Strong communication skills, strategic thinking, adaptability to market changes
o Through knowledge of BESS tenders and converting the requirements into actionable
o Expertise in negotiation and successful deal execution
o Excellent written and oral communication skills in English with the ability to connect with customers & co-workers at all management levels
o Adept at making effective power point presentations for management approvals
o Knowing BESS contract structure
o Open to travel across India
o Self-motivated professional with competence and desire to excel in teamwork

Key challenges to Solve:
o Better commercial terms and low risk definitive agreements
o Through benchmarking, improve product and service offerings for BESS business
Generate business leads (Self and collaboration with regional sales heads) for sale of BESS in India and convert them to definitive agreements
o Understand the voice of clients; work with internal stakeholders specially with technical, commercial, operation & maintenance and legal teams; and make the BESS customer specific offerings
o Prepare & negotiate term sheet, definitive agreements for supply, commission services and operation and maintenance

Key Competencies:
o Skills in selling, identifying customer pain points, and tailoring solutions.
o Understanding of pricing strategies, cost structures, and margin optimization.
o Working effectively with legal, finance, and operations teams.
