The Band C - Total Rewards is responsible for designing, managing, and optimizing the organization's compensation, benefits, and rewards strategy for India. This role ensures that all reward programs are competitive, compliant with local regulations, aligned to business goals, and effective in attracting, retaining, and motivating top talent. The position works closely with HR leadership, business leaders, and reports to India Total Rewards Head to drive databased decision-making and deliver a consistent, equitable employee experience.
The role sits within the India Rewards function and reports into Head of Reward for India by delivering analytical, operational, and advisory reward support.
The role contributes to regional reward initiatives, while responding to general employee compensation queries and supporting broader HR and business decisionmaking.
Key Responsibilities
Compensation & Incentives Support
- Support the Corporate Rewards team in the administration and governance of shortterm incentive (STI) programs, including bonuses, payforperformance, and sales commission frameworks.
- Assist with the interpretation and application of global reward principles across regions, ensuring consistency and compliance.
- Support the Head of Reward for India on any compensation matters requiring support
- Provide compensation support for promotions, market adjustments, geographic mobility cases, and other adhoc compensationrelated requests.
Benchmarking & Market Analysis
- Participate in salary and benefits benchmarking activities, including regular industry and forumlevel surveys.
- Analyze market data and prepare reports and insights to inform compensation decisions.
- Support the development of monthly and quarterly dashboards, analytics, and reporting for leadership review.
Hiring Ranges & Job Pricing
- Collaborate with Recruitment, HR Business Partners, and the Rewards team to develop and maintain competitive hiring ranges aligned to market data and internal job architecture.
- Support job pricing and evaluation activities in partnership with Corporate Rewards and Finance teams.
Employee Value Proposition & Benefits Projects
- Contribute to rewardrelated projects, including employee benefits and incentive initiatives that support the overall Employee Value Proposition (EVP).
- Assist with reviewing benefit competitiveness and costeffectiveness as part of broader reward reviews or initiatives.
DEI & Pay Equity Support
- Support the Corporate Rewards team with pay equity, gender pay gap, and DEI analyses, assisting in data preparation, reporting, and insight development.
Data, Reporting & Systems
- Maintain and manage compensation and benefits data across internal and external systems, supporting data accuracy and resolving discrepancies in partnership with HR Shared Services.
- Prepare compensation reports and data analyses to support informed decisionmaking by HR and business stakeholders.
- Collaborate with HRIS, HR Shared Services, and related teams to ensure effective administration of reward systems.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work closely with HR Business Partners, Recruiters, Finance, and other stakeholders to respond to compensationrelated queries and requests.
- Support crossfunctional collaboration on rewardrelated initiatives and help resolve employee compensation matters as needed.
Skills & Qualifications
- 815 years of progressive experience in Compensation & Benefits/Total Rewards.
- Strong understanding of India labor laws, statutory requirements, and rewards market trends.
- Advanced capability in compensation analytics, benchmarking methodologies, and HR systems (Oracle Fusion, Mercer/Willis Towers Watson tools, etc.).
- Excellent stakeholder management and executive communication skills.
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail, data integrity, and process rigor.
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
