Project Role: Senior Consultant - Oracle EPBCS (Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service)
Project Role Description: The Senior Consultant for Oracle EPBCS will be responsible for implementing, configuring, and supporting Oracle's Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service. The role involves understanding business requirements and translating them into functional designs and technical solutions, optimizing planning, budgeting, forecasting, and financial processes within the Oracle Cloud environment. The consultant will work closely with clients to design end-to-end solutions that enhance business processes and streamline financial management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oracle EPBCS Implementation: Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle EPBCS, including the configuration of planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes. Work closely with functional and technical teams to design and implement solutions that align with client needs.
- Requirement Analysis & Solution Design: Gather and analyze business requirements, design solutions that meet those needs, and translate them into system configurations in Oracle EPBCS.
- System Configuration & Customization: Configure Oracle EPBCS modules (e.g., planning, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting) according to client specifications. Customize reports, data models, and workflows within the application to meet specific business requirements.
- Process Optimization: Identify opportunities for process improvement in financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Implement best practices to streamline processes and improve accuracy and efficiency.
- Integration with Oracle and Third-party Systems: Design and implement integrations between Oracle EPBCS and other Oracle modules (e.g., Oracle EPM, Oracle ERP) or third-party systems to ensure seamless data flow and process automation.
- Testing & Deployment: Create and execute test plans to validate the configuration, ensuring that all processes are functioning correctly and that business requirements are met. Support the deployment of solutions and oversee the transition to production.
- End-User Training & Support: Provide training and knowledge transfer to end-users, helping them understand how to use Oracle EPBCS efficiently. Offer ongoing support and troubleshooting to resolve any issues.
- Documentation & Reporting: Create comprehensive technical and functional documentation for configurations, customizations, and business processes. Maintain accurate records of all configurations and implementations.
