Role Overview
We are looking for a Senior Category Manager – Fashion to own and scale our fashion categories. This role involves end-to-end ownership of category performance, including brand onboarding, assortment strategy, pricing, and inventory planning.
Key ResponsibilitiesCategory Ownership & Growth
- Own category P&L, including revenue, margins, and growth targets
- Build and scale fashion categories such as sneakers, apparel, and accessories
Brand Onboarding & Vendor Management
- Identify, pitch, and onboard relevant fashion brands and sellers
- Drive end-to-end onboarding:
- Commercial discussions
- Margin negotiations
- Catalog readiness
- Go-live execution
- Build and manage long-term brand relationships
- Ensure strong selection, competitive pricing, and availability
Assortment & Inventory Planning
- Curate assortment based on demand trends and customer behavior
- Plan inventory, stock depth, and replenishment cycles
- Optimize for fast-moving SKUs and minimize dead stock
Data & Performance Tracking
- Analyze sales, conversion rates, and demand trends
- Track top-performing and underperforming SKUs
- Drive data-backed decisions for category growth
Pricing & Promotions
- Define pricing strategy and discounting frameworks
- Plan and execute campaigns, drops, and promotions
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- Operations (inventory & fulfillment)
- Marketing (campaigns & growth)
- Catalog (product listings)
Requirements
- 5–9 years of experience in fashion category management, buying, or merchandising
- Strong experience in brand onboarding and vendor management
- Deep understanding of fashion trends, brands, and consumer behavior
- Experience in e-commerce, marketplaces, or retail
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
