Responsibilities:
- Own and manage the product backlog, translating high-level requirements into clear user stories with defined acceptance criteria
- Prioritize backlog items based on customer value, business goals, and technical feasibility while ensuring alignment with the product roadmap
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define clear, testable requirements and act as the voice of the customer within development teams
- Serve as Product Owner in Agile/Scrum teams, leading sprint planning, backlog grooming, and acceptance of completed work
- Provide ongoing guidance and decision-making support to ensure features meet quality standards and customer expectations
- Work cross-functionally with R&D, QA, regulatory, and commercial teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery
- Incorporate customer feedback and workflow understanding to drive usability improvements and feature enhancements
- Ensure timely, high-quality releases by supporting validation, documentation, and readiness activities
Candidate Requirement:
Education: Master's or Ph.D. degree in Life Sciences or related field
Mandatory Skills, Knowledge:
- 10+ years of experience in Application Support, product development, product ownership or relevant fields.
- Experience working with complex systems (hardware + software integration preferred)
- Experience with life sciences instruments (sample prep, plate readers etc.)
- Ability to translate customer needs into detailed technical requirements
- Prior experience working with global, cross-functional teams
- Strong stakeholder management and relationship building skills
