FULL-TIME ONSITE JOB IN RIYADH, KSA

Senior Business Analyst / Product Owner

Position Objectives

  • Lead end-to-end business analysis and product ownership activities to support the delivery of digital and IT-enabled solutions
  • Conduct market analysis to evaluate industry trends, product offerings, and competitor performance to inform product strategy
  • Develop comprehensive business cases, including feasibility studies, cost-benefit analysis, and business value alignment
  • Define product visions, competitive strategies, differentiators, and partnership opportunities
  • Build and maintain a prioritised product roadmap based on market readiness, time-to-market, revenue potential, and operational feasibility
  • Serve as the primary bridge between business stakeholders and technical delivery teams, ensuring strategic intent translates into executable requirements

Job Description and Responsibilities

  • Conduct workshops, interviews, and surveys with key stakeholders to capture business needs, objectives, and challenges
  • Identify, document, and prioritise functional and non-functional requirements based on business impact and feasibility
  • Develop and maintain Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and user stories, ensuring full alignment with stakeholder expectations
  • Review existing systems and processes to assess alignment with stakeholder needs and compliance requirements
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate future requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop actionable solutions
  • Develop business models defining product vision, competitive positioning, and partnership opportunities
  • Create investment and pricing models to estimate market opportunities, including cost structures and revenue models
  • Investigate potential funding sources, including public-private partnerships and alternative financing options
  • Define roles and responsibilities for each scenario within the selected business model
  • Develop a prioritised product roadmap aligned to market readiness, time-to-market potential, revenue impact, and operational feasibility
  • Continuously refine and communicate roadmap priorities to stakeholders and delivery teams
  • Provide detailed monthly progress reports covering requirements outcomes, business analysis findings, and risks or issues identified
  • Maintain accurate project documentation, including BRDs, meeting minutes, action items, and stakeholder engagement summaries
  • Support project governance by assisting in the creation and upkeep of governance frameworks and documentation
  • Identify and categorise project stakeholders and develop a structured communication plan to keep them informed and engaged
  • Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and the project team, managing expectations and ensuring requirements are captured effectively
  • Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure business requirements are accurately understood and translated into actionable tasks
  • Proactively identify potential risks and issues related to business requirements and propose mitigation strategies
  • Continuously monitor requirement progress and address emerging issues that may impact project timelines or deliverables

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; a Master's degree is a plus
  • Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in Business Analysis and/or Product Ownership within complex IT or digital transformation environments
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct market analysis, competitive benchmarking, and translate findings into product strategy
  • Strong proficiency in stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and managing diverse stakeholder groups across seniority levels
  • Hands-on experience developing BRDs, functional specifications, user stories, and requirements documentation
  • Solid track record in business case preparation, including feasibility studies, investment models, and cost-benefit analysis
  • Experience building and managing product roadmaps with clear prioritisation frameworks
  • Strong reporting skills with the ability to produce structured, executive-level progress reports
  • Experience supporting project governance frameworks, including documentation, meeting management, and compliance tracking
  • Ability to identify, assess, and proactively mitigate project risks and issues
  • Strong understanding of both functional and non-functional (technical) requirements
  • Experience working alongside technical and development teams in Agile, hybrid, or waterfall delivery environments
  • Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, or equivalent platforms is an advantage

Must experience in market analysis, stakeholder engagement, BRD development, requirements gathering and prioritisation, business case preparation, roadmap development, reporting, governance support, and risk management.
