*Job Summary*
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect with strong expertise in healthcare planning and execution. The candidate will lead architectural design, coordinate with consultants, ensure statutory compliance, and support project delivery from concept to handover.
*Key Responsibilities*
*Design & Planning*
Lead architectural design for hospitals, clinics, diagnostic centers, and healthcare facilities.
Prepare concept designs, schematic layouts, GFC drawings, and detailed working drawings.
Ensure compliance with healthcare norms, NABH guidelines, NBC, fire safety, and local authority regulations.
Optimize space planning considering clinical workflow, infection control, and patient movement.
*Project Coordination*
Coordinate with MEP consultants, interior designers, structural engineers, and vendors.
Conduct design review meetings with clients and internal teams.
Provide technical support during project execution and site coordination.
*Statutory & Approvals*
Handle liaison with local authorities for approvals (MCGM, Fire, Airport, etc.).
Prepare and review submission drawings and documentation.
*Execution Support*
Visit sites regularly to monitor design implementation and resolve site-related issues.
Review BOQs, material specifications, and shop drawings.
Ensure quality, timelines, and cost alignment with project objectives.
*Team Leadership*
Guide & mentor junior architects and draftsmen.
Review drawings prepared by the team and ensure accuracy and standards.
*Required Skills & Competencies*
Strong knowledge of healthcare architecture & planning.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office.
Good understanding of interior detailing, materials, and construction practices.
Knowledge of hospital workflow, medical equipment planning, and coordination.
Strong communication, client-handling, and presentation skills.
*Qualifications & Experience*
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture.
710 years of professional experience, with minimum 35 years in healthcare projects.
Experience in turnkey hospital projects will be an added advantage.
