Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Architect with strong experience in residential design and on-site coordination. The ideal candidate should be able to manage end-to-end architectural design, handle client interactions, and oversee execution at project sites to ensure design accuracy and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural design for residential buildings, villas, and premium homes.
- Develop conceptual designs, detailed drawings, 2D/3D plans, working drawings, and BOQs.
- Collaborate with structural, MEP, and construction teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Conduct regular site visits to verify design implementation and resolve onsite issues.
- Attend client meetings, understand requirements, and deliver customized design solutions.
- Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and consultants as needed.
- Ensure adherence to building codes, regulations, and company standards.
- Review and approve architectural plans before execution.
- Provide technical guidance to junior architects and interns.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture (B.Arch/M.Arch).
- Minimum 4 years of experience in residential architectural design.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion/Enscape, and other design tools.
- Good understanding of site execution, materials, layouts, and construction techniques.
- Ability to visit project sites regularly (within and around Bangalore).
- Excellent communication and client-handling skills.
- Strong problem-solving ability and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in villa projects, premium homes, or luxury residential design.
- Knowledge of sustainable design and Vastu principles (optional but beneficial).
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
