Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Architect with 5-7 years of experience in the real estate industry. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of architectural design principles, building codes, and local norms, including BBMP regulations, to ensure compliance with city planning and legal requirements. The role involves designing and overseeing the development of residential, commercial, plotted development and mixed-use projects while collaborating with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural designs, drawings, and layouts for real estate projects, ensuring compliance with local building regulations and BBMP norms.
- Lead the preparation of detailed plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, consultants and other professionals to ensure smooth project execution.
- Review and ensure adherence to zoning laws, environmental standards, and other regulatory requirements.
- Participate in meetings with clients to understand their requirements and present design concepts.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously; ensuring deadlines, budgets, and quality standards are met.
- Oversee the construction process to ensure design integrity and resolve on-site issues.
- Prepare presentations and reports for stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated with the latest trends, codes, and technologies in architecture and real estate.
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Master's degree in Architecture.
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience in architectural design, preferably in the real estate sector.
- Strong knowledge of BBMP regulations and local building codes.
- Proficiency in architectural design software such as AutoCAD, MS office, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Excellent understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively to meet project deadlines.
- Detail-oriented with a creative and problem-solving mind-set.
- Ability to lead projects and work independently while also being a team player.
Preferred:
- Experiences in both residential and commercial real estate project/plotted development.
- Familiarity with sustainable design practices and green building certifications.
