Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Finance

  • Maintain books of accounts including GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure accurate recording of expenses, income, and provisions
  • Monitor cash flow and fund utilization

Taxation & Compliance

  • Handle GST (returns, reconciliation, notices, audits)
  • Manage TDS (calculation, filing, returns, and compliance)
  • Coordinate for Income Tax filings and assessments
  • Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Audit & Controls

  • Prepare schedules and documents for internal & statutory audits
  • Coordinate with auditors and resolve audit queries
  • Ensure proper internal controls and documentation

Payroll & Vendor Management

  • Oversee payroll processing and statutory deductions
  • Manage vendor payments and reconciliation
  • Review contracts and ensure accurate accounting treatment

Reporting & MIS

  • Prepare MIS reports for management review
  • Analyze financial data and highlight variances
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities

System & Process

  • Work on accounting software (Tally / ERP / SAP / RanceLab POS if applicable)
  • Improve accounting processes and automation
  • Train junior accountants and supervise accounting staff

Required Qualifications

  • Education: B.Com / M.Com (CA Inter preferred)
  • Experience: 58 years in accounting & finance
  • Industry Preference: Retail / FMCG / Hospitality / Manufacturing

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong knowledge of accounting standards and taxation
  • Proficiency in Tally, Excel, ERP systems
  • Attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Good communication and coordination skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently
