Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented semi qualified or qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) with 1012 years of. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of Procure to Pay process for a US entity and basic understanding of US GAAP and IFRS
This role requires excellent communication skills, advanced Excel proficiency, and the ability to manage cross-functional collaboration with global teams and external auditors.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Accounting & Month-End Close:
- Perform / supervise creation of Purchase Order in Coupa, ensuring budget allocation, GL codes, legal entity etc
- Perform a 2-way match with Invoices and Purchase Order
- Make / review payments for Invoices.
- Month end accrual for open invoices / purchase order.
- Follow up with stakeholders or pending invoices / open purchase orders.
- Supervise a team 2-3 people, across the globe
Taxation & Compliance:
- Ensuring W-8 / W-9 are collected before making payments.
- Review VAT compliances, including ensuring making timely and accurate payments.
Cross-Functional Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between finance, legal, and global operations teams.
- Support ad hoc projects and process improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- CA or semi qualified with 1012 years of relevant experience.
- Good knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS
- Experience with ERP systems and accounting software, Netsuite and Coupa is a plus.
