Job Title: Scrum Master

Experience: 5 - 8 years

Ctc- upto 12 Lpa (depends on interview)

Working Days- 5 Days (9:30 am- 6:30 Pm)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Scrum Master with a strong hands-on background in software development and/or QA to lead and coach our agile teams. The ideal candidate will bring both practical engineering experience and solid Scrum expertise, ensuring high-quality delivery and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as Scrum Master for one or more cross-functional development teams.
  • Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement.
  • Work closely with Product Owners to ensure a clear and well-prioritized product backlog.
  • Remove impediments and coordinate with other teams/functions to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile/Scrum values, principles, and practices.
  • Track and report on key delivery metrics (velocity, sprint burndown, defects, etc.).
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and collaboration.
  • Support the team in engineering best practices (CI/CD, testing, code quality) leveraging your prior development/QA experience.
  • Ensure transparency and alignment through effective communication with stakeholders, management, and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Total Experience: 58 years in IT/software industry.

o Minimum 3 years as a Scrum Master.

o Remaining experience as a Software Developer and/or QA Engineer. Education:

o B.Tech / B.E. or M.Tech / M.E. in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or equivalent discipline.

Certification:

  • Mandatory Scrum certification (e.g. CSM, PSM, or equivalent Scrum Master certification).
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum frameworks, roles, artifacts, and events.
  • Hands-on experience working in Agile software development teams. Excellent communication, facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills. Ability to work effectively with distributed or cross-functional teams. Preferred / Nice-to-Have
  • Experience in Power, Utilities, or Energy domain (energy monitoring, grid, transmission, generation, renewables, asset management, etc.).
  • Exposure to DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, version control, automated testing).
  • Experience working in product-based or platform environments.
