Job Description
The Assistant Manager for the SBAPL_SMC Electrical Tender Technical role is a pivotal position within the Sheet Moulding Compound department. This role requires a seasoned professional with 8 to 10 years of experience, who will be responsible for managing product development (NPD., handling accessory vendors, and conducting technical studies for each enquiry. The candidate will provide technical solutions, prepare GTPs (General Technical Parameters., drawings, and offer comments to be submitted with tenders, ensuring that all technical aspects align with customer requirements and company standards. The role demands strong analytical skills, decision-making capabilities, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The ideal candidate will also possess good management skills, including conflict resolution and leadership, with a focus on maintaining relationships and strategic thinking.
Principal Accountabilities
Lead new product development NPD initiatives ensuring alignment with customer requirements and company standardsbr Manage technical studies for each inquiry to provide tailored solutions that meet tender specificationsbr Collaborate with accessory vendors to ensure the timely delivery of quality components that meet tender requirementsbr Prepare General Technical Parameters GTPs detailed drawings and comments for tender submissionsbr Provide technical solutions and address client queries supporting the sales team in securing business opportunitiesbr Develop and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to facilitate smooth project executionbr Utilize strategic thinking to enhance decisionmaking processes and improve overall project outcomes
