Job Description
Salesforce Technical Lead role involves translating business needs into Salesforce solutions, providing technical guidance to teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of Salesforce projects. This includes designing, building, testing, and deploying applications, managing integrations, and staying current with Salesforce updates. They also often lead requirement analysis, technical design, data modeling, and sprint planning.
Core Responsibilities
- Translating Business Needs:
- Understanding and translating business requirements into functional and technical specifications for Salesforce solutions.
- Technical Design and Implementation:
- Designing, building, and configuring Salesforce applications and integrations.
- Development and Coding:
- Developing custom solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and other Salesforce technologies.
- Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Conducting unit testing, code reviews, and ensuring adherence to coding standards and best practices.
- Deployment and Support:
- Managing deployments, providing application support, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Leadership And Team Management
- Team Leadership:
- Providing guidance, mentorship, and support to development team members.
- Project Management:
- Managing project timelines, deliverables, and resources, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Collaboration:
- Collaborating with stakeholders, business analysts, and other teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Identifying opportunities for process improvement and driving continuous development initiatives.
Technical Expertise
- Salesforce Platform: Strong understanding of the Salesforce platform, including Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, and other relevant modules.
- Integration: Experience with integrating Salesforce with other systems and applications.
- Data Modeling: Designing and implementing data models to support Salesforce solutions.
- Performance Optimization: Monitoring and optimizing Salesforce performance.
- Troubleshooting: Identifying and resolving complex technical issues.
