Vedantu is looking for a dynamic and result-oriented Tamil speaking Sales Trainers to drive training excellence across our sales organization. This role plays a pivotal part in building high-performing sales teams by designing and delivering structured onboarding programs, continuous learning journeys, and performance-driven training interventions aligned with business goals.
The Sales Trainer will be responsible for onboarding, training, and upskilling sales teams to enhance productivity, improve conversion rates, and drive overall business performance. Working closely with sales leadership and cross-functional teams, you will focus on strengthening team capabilities, optimizing sales funnel performance, and ensuring consistent execution across the organization. This role requires a strong blend of sales acumen, training expertise, and data-driven decision-making, and offers an opportunity to directly impact revenue growth by enabling teams with the right skills, tools, and frameworks.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and deliver structured sales training programs for new hires and existing team members across various experience levels
• Lead end-to-end onboarding and certification processes to ensure faster ramp-up and readiness of new joiners
• Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning interventions
• Implement coaching frameworks and refresher programs to continuously improve team performance
• Collaborate with sales leaders and stakeholders to optimize sales funnel efficiency and improve conversion rates at each stage
• Develop training content, playbooks, and resources aligned with evolving business needs and product offerings
• Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness using performance data, feedback, and key metrics
• Continuously refine training strategies, methodologies, and content to maximize impact and scalability
• Drive a culture of continuous learning, accountability, and performance excellence within the sales teams
Eligibility Criteria:
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sales and at least 2 years in training, coaching, or sales enablement roles
• Prior experience in ed-tech or inside sales environments is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of sales funnels, lead lifecycle, objection handling, and conversion optimization techniques
• Proven ability to design and deliver engaging training programs in fast-paced, target-driven environments
• Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive training decisions and improvements
• Tamil Language proficiency is mandatory
