We Are Hiring: Sales Trainer / Facilitator (Classroom Training)

Position Title: Sales Trainer / Facilitator (Classroom Training)

Department: Sales Strategy & Excellence

Reporting To: Head Sales Training

Experience Required: 5+ years in Sales Training / Enablement

Location: Gurgaon

Travel: Occasional field visits to gather training needs

Role Purpose

To deliver structured classroom training that improves the selling discipline and execution quality of field sales teams and channel participants through practical facilitation, simulations, and assessments. The role focuses on building capability in sales operating rhythm, channel execution, product selling, objection handling, app/reporting hygiene, and evidence-based follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Facilitation

  • Facilitate classroom and virtual sessions using discussions, demonstrations, role-plays, and case-based learning.
  • Run structured practice and Deliver programs aligned to sales operating rhythm, scheme implementation, channel hygiene, and service/VOC response.

Session Preparation & Customization

  • Translate business KRAs into clear learning outcomes, session plans, and facilitator guides.
  • Customize examples, cases, and activities for different roles.
  • Coordinate schedule ensure participants come prepared for practice and assessment.

Assessment, Certification & Remediation

  • Design and administer knowledge checks, scenario-based quizzes, and role-play rubrics with pass criteria.
  • Provide immediate feedback and remediation plans for participants who do not meet standards.
  • Maintain batch-wise records for completion, scores, and certification status.

Training Governance & Reporting

  • Track attendance, completion, assessment results, and participant feedback (NPS/CSAT).
  • Publish post-training summaries: gaps observed, actions agreed, and reinforcement recommendations for sales leaders.
  • Maintain audit-ready training documentation (participant lists, scores, evidence of completion).

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Work with Sales, Product, Service, and Enablement stakeholders to ensure training content matches current priorities and KRAs.
  • Coordinate training calendars, nominations, and logistics with training operations.

Continuous Improvement

  • Refresh cases and simulations using field feedback, performance trends, and recurring execution issues.
  • Suggest reinforcement mechanisms (micro-drills, short refreshers, post-training quizzes) to improve retention and compliance.

Success Measures (KPIs)

  • Training coverage: % planned programs delivered vs. calendar; batch completion rate.
  • Learning effectiveness: pre vs. post score improvement; certification pass rate; role-play proficiency.
  • Training quality: feedback score (NPS/CSAT) and facilitator evaluation.
  • Reinforcement adherence: on-time completion of post-training quizzes / assignments and action trackers.
  • Candidate Profile

    Must-Have

    • 5+ years experience in sales training / classroom facilitation (or a strong mix of sales + training).
    • Has a good grasp on learning theories and their use in content development
    • Hands-on facilitation strength: can run role-plays, simulations, and difficult feedback conversations.
    • Ability to translate business metrics/KRAs into clear training outcomes and practical activities.
    • Comfort with assessment design and documentation (quizzes, rubrics, score sheets, batch reports).

    Good-to-Have

    • Experience in sales ecosystems (distributordealer model).
    • Familiarity with CRM / app-based working and basic learning platforms (LMS).
    • Exposure to power electronics / solar / UPS / inverter categories or adjacent B2B/B2C selling environments.

    Education & Language

    • Education: Graduate (MBA preferred but not mandatory if facilitation credibility is strong).
    • Language: English + Hindi (regional language is a plus).

    Behavioral Expectations

    • High ownership and punctuality; strong bias for structure and standards.
    • Calm, confident presence with the ability to challenge and coach respectfully.
    • Data comfort: uses assessment and feedback data to improve delivery and target gaps.
