Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Skills Gap Analysis: Conduct thorough skills gap analyses for the sales team to identify specific areas requiring improvement and development.
  • Curriculum Design: Design comprehensive and engaging sales training curricula, ensuring they are tailored to identified needs and developed within stipulated time and budget constraints.
  • Content Development: Produce high-quality physical and digital educational materials, including but not limited to videos, case studies, role-playing scenarios, and interactive exercises.
  • New Salesperson Onboarding: Develop and execute effective onboarding programs for new salespeople, ensuring they are quickly integrated, well-versed in products/services, and equipped for success.
  • Performance Review Coordination: Coordinate and facilitate individual and team performance review sessions, providing constructive feedback, discussing strengths, and addressing weaknesses to foster continuous improvement.
  • Objective Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor sales objectives and results closely, providing regular reports on progress and identifying areas where training can further support goal attainment.
  • Feedback Collection: Systematically collect feedback from trainees and sales managers about the effectiveness and relevance of training courses.
  • Training Impact Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on the impact of training programs, demonstrating tangible results such as improved sales figures, conversion rates, or customer satisfaction.
  • External Engagement: Liaise with external trainers or industry professionals to organize specialized seminars, workshops, or guest speaker sessions to enrich training offerings.
  • Record Maintenance: Maintain meticulously updated records of all training materials, curricula, attendance, and associated costs, ensuring easy accessibility and compliance.

Required Skills:

  • Proven experience in conducting skills gap analyses.
  • Strong ability to design sales training curricula within time and budget constraints.
  • Proficiency in producing physical and digital educational material (videos, case studies).
  • Experience in onboarding new salespeople.
  • Capability to coordinate individual and team performance review sessions.
  • Skills in monitoring sales objectives and results.
  • Ability to collect feedback from trainees and managers about training courses.
  • Experience in reporting on the impact of training programs (e.g., sales achieved).
  • Strong liaison skills for working with external trainers or industry professionals.
  • Proficiency in maintaining updated records of training material, curricula, and costs.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
